Features : Matilde Vicenzi has been producing Vicenzovo since the beginning of the 20th century, when her family launched an artisanal production line dedicated to typical Venetian sweets, working from a small shop near Verona. By law, the name “savoiardo” is intended only for the egg biscuit with a characteristic elongated shape, a structure featuring small, regular air bubbles, a sugar-coated top and a typical vanilla-lemon flavour. The product must contain a humidity level of between 4 and 12%. Today, Matilde Vicenzi’s Vicenzovo biscuits are distributed all over the world and are used daily as the star ingredient in tiramisu and other spoon desserts.
